Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
Thanks for the info - and congrats! I fully expect a ding so it will be a nice surprise if I end up with something else.Wahrheit wrote:I was about the opposite, stats on profile. I had stellar softs though and we talked about those in my interview, with no mention of my hards, and I am URM - so take it as you will. Good luck!secadc11 wrote:Checking in; GPA well below 25th with LSAT above median. Def a stretch but I'm crossing my fingers.
Additionally, if you /absolutely must know/ when decisions are going out, do follow them on Twitter. They don't update it often, but it does coincide with action (except for ED, apparently).

Are there any numbers on about what % of interviewees get accepted?

K I was wondering if I was going crazy.Wahrheit wrote:Chicago Law now shows up on Need Access. Gogogo!
Actually, on that subject - do you guys have your W-2s/tax info for this year, or are you filing without?

Aren't you only required to provide your tax returns and not a W-2?middlebear wrote:K I was wondering if I was going crazy.Wahrheit wrote:Chicago Law now shows up on Need Access. Gogogo!

I thought you needed to do your taxes before you file FAFSA. I've never filed, so I'm genuinely curious.

So if I understand correctly, you can file with the prior year's, but then you have to go back once you've filed your current-year returns and revise.smile0751 wrote:I thought you needed to do your taxes before you file FAFSA. I've never filed, so I'm genuinely curious.
For any of it, I feel like I need my W-2, so... waiting.

someone should make a c/o 2018 thread so posts in here remain relevant to those of us still waiting

Generally they bleed into each other. Waiters post on the c/o forums to ask questions from those admitted. Those admitted post here because its a wider audience.

Checking in, Chicago is pretty much the only market where I have significant ties, so fingers crossed. LSAT at median, 25%<GPA<50%

Recently accepted RD. Has anyone else noticed the "glass menagerie photo" in the requirements list on the status checker?
What does that even mean?

The Glass Menagerie appears to be a publication; you're expected to submit your photo to be presented in it in the event that you matriculate.
I think it's neat. : )
