Oops! I had it wrong in the NYU c/o 2018 post. That's what I get for trusting myself and not going back to the source. I take back everything I said.ChemEng1642 wrote: I thought NYU's was 26-27 too?

But congrats to those getting emails!!

So, I didnt track completion dates... but I submitted 10/1/14. Also, non-URM. My info is listed on LSN--although I dont want to officially link my LSN and TLS accounts.accessislife wrote:Congrats!!! mind adding completion dates??smile0751 wrote:Admitted!!!! Either way, with my LSAT I thought I was a Columbia goner. I've been walking around with a huge grin all day at work. I think my coworkers think I've finally cracked.

Can't stop refreshing.
We are sure this is a trickle and not a group of admits sent at the same time, right?

How can we really know?! Maybe they are still snail mailing some people? There's no rhyme or reason with them...w0w wrote:Can't stop refreshing.

Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Mine didn't mention scholarship information, but digging through the materials on the accepted students page seems to suggest that Butlers and Hammys are only given at time of acceptance which means we are out of luck. It is my guess that all these early acceptances are to applicants who are not getting scholarships (and who, largely, did not interview).downbeat14 wrote:For those that received acceptances, did anyone have scholarship info. Mine didn't mention anything in the email. Do these typically come later?
That doesn't preclude receiving merit aid through negotiation.

If those admitted today could share their email arrival times, that would be great!

In the past, named scholarships came at the time of acceptance and everything else came later. No scholly in mine, sadly...just a short personalized note.downbeat14 wrote:For those that received acceptances, did anyone have scholarship info. Mine didn't mention anything in the email. Got the email at 12:33 -- no interview, complete 11/19. No scholarship info, which is a bummer. Oh well, I'll take the acceptance!

I'm 175/3.87, borderline scholarship numbers, and got nothing.downbeat14 wrote:That's what I was thinking. Maybe the email portion didn't have scholarship info and it's coming later with the mailed version? Hoping this is true.
Anyone else above 75th LSAT and above median GPA not get scholarship info in the email as well?

I am wondering if they are literally scanning people's letters, attaching them to the right email addresses manually, and then snail mailing them.
Could be labor intensive and error prone.

I get the impression this is what's happening, just looking at the time span and the email.Skool wrote:I am wondering if they are literally scanning people's letters, attaching them to the right email addresses manually, and then snail mailing them.
