How does a WL decision come? A sad letter? Email? Also, can any reverse splitters message me with your stats if you've gotten a WL or accepted?

Complete 11/21, interview 12/12, and haven't heard anything since. It definitely feels like forever.SDJ30 wrote:Application complete since 10/13, interviewed in late Oct. Joining the party betches- complete 10/29, interviewed 11/11, nothing since. Right on 12 weeks, which is what the SC header refers to.

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Holy moly. The Vandy acceptance package actually weighs 6lb! It's filled with info including a biography for ever single faculty member plus brochures for every major program. I cringed a little while reading the environmental law brochure that sat on top of half a tree's worth of literature. They talked about all their clinical programs and basically gave huge insight into their academic program.
Props to the marketing team at Vandy- the guide to the law school is the single most comprehensive guide any law school can produce. They have tips about surviving law school, directions to the library, fun things to do in Nashville, specific prices and sizes of named housing in the area, and basically answer every logistical question you would ever have-literally everything you could ask for. It was like 150 pages of practical info.
Just wow at all this info.

Definitely feel that way. Stats are borderline for me, but I've gotten into UT, and I thought I had a pretty good chance at Vandy too... I guess the name of the game is to keep waiting.Tr3 wrote:We all have very similar dates. Maybe they forgot about us. ='(

My package is exactly ONE district away. I could probably *walk* to it in about 1.5-2 hours (cab it in 15). But no, it's stuck in transit. I wonder if the delivery guys work Saturdays so I can get it tomorrow...

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
hey guys! checking in kinda late.
Applied 1/9
Complete/Under Review 1/12
Decision Letter Mailed 1/23
Called FedEx to try to find out more about the package/letter on it's way to me ..but had no luck. Scrolling through the thread, I guess it's normal for FedEx to update 1 or 2 days after DLS notification.
I really doubt I'd be flat out rejected, but I'm wondering if Vandy has started sending out WL letters?
Is the turnaround time usually this quick?
Has anyone had any luck calling the admissions office to find out their FedEx tracking number?

The turnaround time isn't atypical. As others have noted, it's probable that the office updates the SC before they actually mail the packages. I'd call FedEx tomorrow and see what they have. You won't get anything - USPS or Fedex - until Monday or Tuesday.maroon175 wrote:hey guys! checking in kinda late.
