It's a JS1b. Big congratz!

Sounds like a JS1b to me, and it makes me think that Post-WL Js1s are possibly just elaborate JS1bs.

Whoa. This sounds like "the homework" assigned to last week's JS1's. But the fact that you're getting it is making me think that the homework is taking on something of a JS1b type importance. They want you to EMAIL them back within 24?
Yeah, I'm supposed to think it over/explore the website/talk to the people in my life, and then email them tonight/tomorrow morning. I'm having literal heart palpitations rn.

This seriously makes me think JS2's are very, very close. And I can relate to the heart palpitations

Just got the same call. Wow! Excitement. I was told to expect to hear a final decision as they move through the spring and summer, so not sure if HLS is just being coy or if this call was actually the beginning of yet another phase of waiting.

There are at least two of us who got told during our post-WL JS1 that decisions would be made within two weeks. Seems that people are getting different answers depending on whom they talk to.

I really hope I get whatever phone call this is before my exam next Tuesday, which I am almost certainly going to fail. So I don't have to bother studying.

Had my JS1 last week. I got the spring/summer language in response to my 24-hour homework email. We did not discuss notification timeframe during JS1.

I felt like that language is a hedge on their part - just in case they hold off on someone they interviewed last week / called this week through the Summer.
My God's honest gut feeling is that most post-WL JS1's and almost all pre-WL JS1's who are receiving JS1b's are in for some good news later this week (assuming they could commit to the 24hr window).
That they want responses from JS1b's tomorrow afternoon indicates to me that they may start calls sometime Thursday, but more likely Friday.

How have the js1bs usually worked? Are there usually waves, or is it just sporatic?

Another question (sorry if already addressed): is there any precedent from past cycles for this 24-hour "homework" assignment at the end of post-WL JS1s? Thanks.

When I was interviewed last week I was also told that I would hear something "within the next few weeks". Hopefully it's good news!
