My last status update was 11/11, the same date all these acceptance letters were sent out... I'm kind of out of the way in Upstate NY, so hopefully I'll get something in the mail box tomorrow. My numbers are very competitive but not auto-admit, and I had a group interview a few weeks ago. Hoping for my first big acceptance of the cycle!

If you are unable to go to a group interview, do you generally have another opportunity for some type of interview?

I couldn't do a group interview and they hooked me up with an Alumni.

Did you ask or did it just come later?

Congrats to those who were accepted! Does the acceptance letter go into any detail about when more information will be coming? I was accepted as well, but I am currently away and don't have access to the physical letter at the moment.

I told them I couldn't make it, but to keep me posted on any other opportunities. They contacted me a few weeks later with an alumni interview request. It all was pretty standard emails and not back and forth conversation though.

Nothing specific, just that they will have on campus events in the future.

does the status checker actually change beyond 'Completed'?

does it go to UR?

also are all decisions notified solely by mail?

It doesn't.

No.

Acceptances have been coming by mail (unless there is some bizarre circumstance where it gets returned or something). Someone got a hold email, and it seems like WL/dings came via email last year.

Admitted RD! Received the letter this morning- nice hand-written comments on the bottom. No interview, no why georgetown.

In RD! Did an optional essay, submitted 10/23, interview on 11/6. I didn't check status updates, but my last status change was 11/11.

I'm guessing a wave of acceptances from 11/11 just went out and those of us a little further from DC are getting them today (and perhaps tomorrow) rather than yesterday.

In RD as well! 168, 3.7x. Submitted 10/18, complete 10/21, Interview 10/30, final status update 11/11, letter postmarked 11/11. No Why Georgetown or 250 word optional essays but I did write a diversity statement. Congrats and good luck to everyone else!

They're putting off making a decision for the person until February it sounds like.

Real low-intensity. Dean Cornblatt is real nice, quick intros, then you get into groups and work on an activity. Definitely don't stress about it at all.
