Do you guys think ASD is important to attend? It's going to be really hard for me to attend with my new job and all. I'm 90% sure I'll be going to WF in the Fall. Should I try to attend ASD, or just visit in the Spring (probably in April)?

I went with my parents on a seperate visit and feel like I got as much out of it as I could. It would probably be good to go to ASD, because you can get a discount on your deposit but it you can't make it during one of those weekends setup a private tour.

I was admitted on the 31st and have only gotten one letter, which was basically just a formal copy of the initial email they sent me. What was your other letter?

I got one letter, which was a formal acceptance letter, and then I got another letter which was a scholarship letter. I also got them in email form.

yesterday I got the hard copy of my scholarship info and a small packet containing info about the law school (the view book, some student testimonials, study abroad info, etc.)

When you go to ASD do they automatically take $300 off your seat deposit, or do you have to ask?

Yeah, I had the same problem with the Hearn PDF. I thought it was just something I was doing. I probably need to contact them about the issue.

The Rose PDF worked fine but the Hearn one gave me a ton of issues. I wound up just taking screenshots of each page and then pasting them all into a word document and submitting that.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with issues with the Hearn PDF. If you don't think you had issues with the Hearn PDF, I'd recommend checking out the email you sent and downloading the pdf you attached. It wasn't until I did this myself that I found the issue. It appeared that the words were saved in the application, but it didn't show once downloaded. Weird stuff. I ended up switching the PDF over to a word document, took like 30 minutes.

Last year, 93 applied for the 10k one and 130 applied for the 20k one.

Who reads the scholarships applications? I already discussed a lot of what is on the Rose application in my personal statement. Don't want to be too repetitive if the same people are reading it.

My mac died a few days ago so I had to use a PC and I'm so technologically challenged I couldn't even save the pdf, had to print it and then scan it and screenshot it and make it a word doc? It looked so bad haha whatever, submitted it! And ya the Hearn definitely wouldn't save for me.

waiting to hear back from my scholarship reconsideration request. they also received both my scholarship application for the rose and hearns. I have kept my fingers crossed. Wake is totally where I want to be this Fall!
