Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Last year emails went out a day after the status update, at least for the people who got an update on december 10. The people who got one on December 07 I have no idea when they got theirs.

I bet the folks at google must be wondering what is wrong with my account as they see 50 refreshes per minute on my gmail.

Of course I do. I'm not lacking push email, just self-control.californiauser wrote:Do you not have push email to your cell?Babum wrote:It's a tough time for us allHYSenberg wrote:Don't tease me, bro.![]()

Theory: the admissions office likes to troll me and release decisions at times when it's difficult for me to congratulate people. First batch was released the day before the open memo was due. Following this logic, they should release decisions in the middle of my exam tomorrow.

My email came about 5:30 in the evening EST.altoid99 wrote:At approximately what time did you receive your acceptance e-mail?jcb5329 wrote:It could. My status complete date changed in the early afternoon the day I was accepted.HarvardHopeful wrote:My complete status changed to 12/10

does this mean anything? Haven't been following this thread too much and not sure if there has been a pattern with complete dates.

Is it usually 3 completes before a decision, or 2?

I'm wondering why Cornell doesn't seem to have accepted anyone with very high numbers on LSN. Any thoughts?
I've also been chilling with 3 date updates for 3 weeks ish, so don't get your hopes up just yet!

Mine came at about 8:30 am central. Only had one status update before being accepted.jcb5329 wrote:My email came about 5:30 in the evening EST.altoid99 wrote:At approximately what time did you receive your acceptance e-mail?jcb5329 wrote:It could. Maybe people dislike Ithaca. Applicants with strong numbers would rather apply to other equally ranked universities and not Cornell.lastsamurai wrote:I'm wondering why Cornell doesn't seem to have accepted anyone with very high numbers on LSN. Any thoughts?
