Also updated. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's highly unlikely that we see any RD decisions before January. AFAIK Chicago has never released RD decisions until after the new year.

He'll why not just normal cc? It would give the other schools a laugh and it's not like ED admits need to worry about looking socially inept :pshntn wrote:E-mail is fine. I'm sure that came across in the applications in a more general way.![]()
Also.... I have a sort-of-dumb question for all you other ED admits, or anyone in general for that matter: How exactly do we begin withdrawing from the other schools we applied to? Can we just call them, or do we have to email them (or even write them letters)? Does anyone have a link to instructions about how to withdraw applications? (I basically just want to make sure that I tell them first.... almost like when you break up with someone, you don't want them to be the one that dumped you; you want to be "the dumper.")

How long does it take to go under review? I'm sitting at complete as of November 2nd, but still not UR.

Re: Chicago c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I can only speak for myself, but I went UR two weeks after going complete. Then again, that was back in September when they were presumably less busy. It looks like it's been taking them quite some time to work through all the apps completed in September and October, make ED decisions, conduct interviews, etc.Regulus wrote:I already PM'ed LSATSCORES2012 this, but unfortunately I wasn't really keeping track of my status checker (and even if I had been, I applied to Chicago ED so it is probably different than what you will experience as an RD applicant). All I do know is that my status checker changed back to "Under Review" on 12/6 after I had my interview on 12/3, then the date updated again on 12/17 before I received my acceptance via email on 12/20.Elahrairah wrote:Same here, starting to get worried.LSATSCORES2012 wrote:How long does it take to go under review? Any RD applicants out there who can hook our friends up with the information they seek?
Sidenote: Fortunately, I don't think the general decision timeline will be pushed back. But I do think we might see less acceptances in January and more in February and March to compensate for the interviews slowing down the app review process. It's tough to see how they would be able to interview all the interview-worthy people who went complete in November in time for the mid-January decisions.
