I'm going to both the CLS/NYU ASWs in late March - I figured I'd leave MH midday and come downtown. Will be staying with my sister, am not sure about hotels because half my family lives in NYC.

The CLS website says something about having to stay until at least 4:30pm on Thursday in order to be eligible for the travel subsidy. I'm not sure if that's something they actually enforce, but if it is I'm worried I'm going to miss too much of the fun at NYU. Does anyone know if NYU has an hour-by-hour schedule for their program on the admitted students website somewhere? I can't find one anywhere. I want to see if what I'm missing if I don't arrive before 5-ish.

When you RSVP for NYU, they list the events hour by hour, and you check which ones you wanna go to (and you can change your mind later). The "menu" that came with the pizza box also has a list of events.

But most importantly, you wouldn't miss the pizza if you show up at 5.

I want to just go ahead and email them to try to negotiate, but I figure this is a little hasty?

NYU generally gives out scholarship offers the first week of March. I'll be negotiating after I receive mine.
