According to the 2012 SA class sizes thread there's 3 Illinois people going to Cahill. That's pretty cool. I know there was a New York interview program that happened around OCI time that seemed a lot more beneficial than the CA one. Maybe they got offers from there.illini22 wrote: For instance, I know that three people ended up at the same NYC vault 50 firm. And Im pretty sure that firm was not at OCI.

nice, thanks for putting that up. I don't really know what the numbers mean, but I like that UIUC has some. Can anyone speak to LRAP?

Not sure anyone's getting UIUC acceptances on the weekends. You might have better luck wishing for a weekday acceptance.in2win wrote:i said i hope that this weekend i get good news (like an acceptance)

FWIW, based on LSN, decision emails seem to be coming on Fridays more or less. Mine did. I think people might be receiving those packages with the USB drive on weekends maybe though.in2win wrote:tmon wrote:Not sure anyone's getting UIUC acceptances on the weekends. I'm think our delays either mean something really bad or really good.

Well. I'm usually the first to pessimism. But I'm not even so sure anymore. From what I can tell everyone hanging on the hold is a pretty strong candidate.givemea170 wrote:Smells like a rejection.Gail wrote:I'm think our delays either mean something really bad or really good.

We'll see. Hopefully by the end of the week. Certainly by March 9th.

What schools are you looking at gm170? I really can't believe that you're not in yet. Did you do the typical splitter thing and apply to NW, GT, and UVA?

I received my acceptance in about 2-3 weeks with scholarship. I received it late friday night.

NW and UVA, not georgetown.mattviphky wrote:givemea170 wrote:Smells like a rejection.Gail wrote:I'm think our delays either mean something really bad or really good.

I've been accepted to: UTK, DePaul, Boston College, Loyola/Chicago
Waitlist: George Mason, Colorado
Held: Illinois
Not heard from a ton of schools like Indiana, Northwestern, Boston University, Columbia, Chicago-Kent, Iowa, WSTL, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wake Forest, Michigan
Rejected: Minnesota/Penn State(?)
As a splitter, I will say that my biggest mistake was not taking the LSAT in October and applying then, decided to study more and take it in December and applying late as a splitter doesn't seem like a good idea now.

Oh, well you're in at WUSTL with big bucks for sure. Nah, don't regret studying to get that 171. If you need to reapply you can always do that. But I think you'll start getting the acceptances soon enough.
penn state had to be some sort of ridiculous yp
