11/22 as well, hoping I hear back soon, I really would love to go to Berekely, but my GPA makes it a bit of a long shot, LSAT is well above the 75th, but my GPA is below median (above the 25th). Maybe they'll just decide that I'm a super cool person who they'd like to have around...

Same here! Except in reverse, my GPA is good but an atrocious atrocity of an LSAT. Here's hoping they get to us soon fellow splitter!Campagnolo wrote:I'm starting to get nervous about this one (11/22 update for me). My GPA is, for Berkeley, an atrocious atrocity. Maybe a decent LSAT and a public-spirited PS will do the trick?

Checked my voicemail this morning, missed call from the Dean. I feel like a fool; should I call back/email him with my sincerest thanks?

Since UCLA / CAL both usually call for acceptances, wouldn't email from them seem like a bad thing (wl/reject)?

I refuse to acknowledge this as a possibility. Ontologically, it does not exist.Ti1Her0 wrote:Since UCLA / CAL both usually call for acceptances, wouldn't email from them seem like a bad thing (wl/reject)?

I feel the same. I’ve learned to just never get excited when I get emails from law schools because it’s always from some school I have no interest in. I attempted to get off the list by turning off the credential referral service or whatever it’s called. Sadly, it didn’t work.msblaw89 wrote:+1 same thing happened to me! Got the same email, and I too have apps at Berkeley and UCLA, so it was... quite a rush of emotions for a minute.Campagnolo wrote:From: University of Cal...

For future phone calls that may entail the callers leaving time-sensitive voicemails, you all should sign up for Google Voice. It emails you a sound file of the voicemail (and an invariably terrible translation) as soon as one is left.SemperLegal wrote:+1sokomofo wrote:congrats to those who have been admitted! im super jealous. berkeley is easily my top choice.. been UR since 10/27. do berkeley send out acceptance emails to those who they cant reach via phone? im in the military right now in a foreign country, and i didnt even put down a phone number on my application.

+1 for Google Voice. I use it for all my voicemails, very handy to be able to listen to all of them online, or to use the app to read it after its transcribed (tbh they're not great, but usable) if I'm in a place where I can't listen to it.addy11 wrote:For future phone calls that may entail the callers leaving time-sensitive voicemails, you all should sign up for Google Voice.
