Eh the only reason I'm here is because I know nobody personally who's applying to law school, in law school now, or graduated recently. I'm kinda the oddball in my group of friends and family.

Bah, I know this is a dumb question, but what's the chance on getting money from a WL? (I just don't want to admit it to myself.) Got the email from UVa last week, which was really kinda hurtful - and to think I gave them as much love as I could.

If you get $$ from a similar school, and you get accepted before/near after the seat deposit deadline, open them negotiations!

UCLA's WL FAQ says you can still get merit scholarship, which is odd and screams YP to me. UVa's FAQ make it sound like you can't get scholarships. You can still probably get need aid if you qualify.

haha, +1. I hope I'll have time to hang out on TLS every once in a while in law school. The current students have been awesome around here, and I think it'd be cool to give back to a community that's helped me out so much. And I'm sure we'll have a group together when we're all applying for summer jobs and doing OCI... you know, when the economy is all rainbows and unicorns and we're comparing our Biglaw offers.

Also, wow I can't believe our "prime time" on TLS is (sorta) coming to an end. Soon we won't be clueless 0Ls flipping out over the LSAT or law school apps or whatever else we worry about. Time flies when you're having fun/developing anxiety disorders.

I don't think any other T14 other than Duke has ASW that weekend, so you should be safe.
