I talked to admissions again today. They anticipate that all decisions should be made by the end of April with decision letters being mailed the first few days in May.

So much for all decisions being made by the end of April? They are kind of running out of April. I just want to know yay or nay. I have friends willing to get a place with me but we sort of need to start figuring all that jazz out...

Accepted via email tonight
As for my stats, I'm at the median for both LSAT and GPA
Also, I applied late November and this is the first thing I've heard from ASU since
Hopefully this helps out those who are still waiting

Assuming the trend of decisions on Fridays is true, and that Kathy was right about the end of April, shouldn't we be hearing from more of you on here today?

Re: Arizona State 2011
The only 'trend' shown by ASU this cycle is that decisions are delayed and the 'expectation' of when decisions will be made by is constantly pushed back. As a result, the only thing I expect is a whole lot of silence followed by a promise to have decisions made by the middle of May.

Looks like they've been coming via USPS, but ASU's emails tend to come out very late in the day, so try not to panic just yet.jduds wrote:do rejections come by email because Kathy told me I would be getting an email today with a decision praying I will get in!!! Re: Arizona State 2011
I just received the waitlist email earlier this afternoon and thought that was the end of it but I just checked my phone and it seems like I got a missed call from the admissions office while I was at work (around 8:30ish)
I called back a couple minutes ago but got no response. Has anyone else on the waitlist received a personal call???
edit: oh and they left no voicemail either... strange

Re: Arizona State 2011
I'm starting to feel like that clingy girlfriend whose calls you ignore because every time I call I get the 'no one is available at this' message...
UPDATE:
Finally got through today. They told me that my application was complete and that a decision should be made within the next week - specifically in another four to five days. Though, they also told me the end of April so...
FINAL UPDATE:
Apparently four to five days really means four to five hours. Waitlisted as of today. I'll pursue the waitlist but I don't assume I'll get off the waitlist. Kind of super bummed because I just found out one of my really good friends from college is moving out to Tempe with her boyfriend this weekend because he just got in as a PhD English student. Ah well.

Got accepted via e-mail about a week and a half ago. Can anyone who has already gotten their snail-mail acceptance letter packet tell me about how much time it took for you to receive it after you received your acceptance e-mail? I want to know if I have any scholarship money waiting for me!
