I've been "complete - awaiting evaluation" since 1/14. Is it normal to wait this long before being evaluated? Anyone else in the same boat?

very normal.

I had been "complete - awaiting evaluation" for about 5 months.
but as the end of this cycle is coming, I think you should know the result at least before Apr 15.

Thanks! Glad to hear it's normal, although with fewer seats available at the end of the cycle, I doubt I'll get in. Damn. Should've applied earlier... Shoulda, woulda, coulda...

Unfortunately the website doesn't have the answer to my question. I was wondering if the 10,000 dollar "education fee" or what they're now calling "tuition" is covered. I'll call the school tomorrow to ask.

@orachelo, I had been awaiting eval since early December and I submitted late Nov, I just got my decision yesterday, it takes a lot of time

It looks like i will for sure be attending santa clara's ASD on saturday. Davis will evaluate me until the end of time.

LOL. i submitted first few days of december, and have been in evaluation since 2/15. I wait every single evening till 6pm, feel my heart beat skip a few times, then stare at "evaluation in progress" wondering why. just why. either you want me or you don't.

Went under eval on the 8th of March, went complete the 7th of Dec.

hmmm everybody else seems to be in eval for no more than a couple weeks. I wonder why it's taking them so darn long with me. I submitted 12/6, went complete 12/16, and have been in eval since 2/15. Congrats though!

Yea I've been in eval since mid Feb as well, everyday since then it's just been "in progress". I don't know if this a good or bad sign.

When will I receive a final decision on my application?
Most applications are evaluated between January and April. That is when the Admission Committee is able to do most of its work. We can make no guarantees as to the exact date by which you will receive a final decision. Files are read in random order and evaluation begins only after the application file is completed. The 2008-2009 admission process has only just commenced and will likely continue through the end of April. If there is a problem with your application file, we will contact you. Otherwise you should assume that the most up-to-date information is available at the status check website.
