Just withdrew. Hope someone gets my spot and cash money ($24K/yr). This was a really hard one, and I might reapply here next year even though the Bay Area placement is nonexistent. Good luck!

my Application Status just changed from "Pending" to "Decision Made"

I had been "Pending" since mid-December...

Seeing as how I have not received a phone call or anything, I am predicting that I got Rejected....maybe via snail mail?

Oh well...my numbers were never particularly up there, so not a surprise. a man can dream though! lol

Well, the deposit is in and I've withdrawn from my other schools, so I will definitely be here next Fall. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Tuscaloosa area at all and don't know anyone else in Tuscaloosa so I was wondering if anyone who has any experience with the city has any apartment recommendations. Thanks.

yep. I liked them at first, but they left a bad taste in my mouth after keeping me "pending" for so long.

I got declined. Admittedly I was a bit of an outlier, but it was my "reach" school.

Oh well, I got something that works out that's probably just as good (for a lot cheaper).

how did you find out? via email? via phone call? did you call them up?

It was pretty lame on their part actually.

My parents called me and told me that I had gotten the letter via snail mail today. I had checked my status online earlier today (see my last two posts in this thread) and it still said pending. Then I checked after my parents called me and it had been changed to "Decision Made".

It seems to me that they don't change the online status until a few days after they actually make the decision.

To be fair, I didn't have much hope and wasn't at all surprised. 157 LSAT (didn't study, don't judge me) and 3.67ish GPA probably weren't going to cut it.

You guys have me super nervous now. I have been trying to get my MyBama status checker deal set up for a week now. (I just found out they had one, lol.) For whatever reason it won't accept my surname and CWID and the law admissions folks and OIT are blaming the registrar. I was going to call tommorrow but maybe it won't even matter.

It took me a loooong time in between submitting via LSAC and getting myBama. Even since getting myBama, (March 9) there hasn't been an update. Many people on here have been waiting a lot lot lot longer than that.

Still "Pending" and am now so nervous I can't see straight...

I loved my visit and thought that the students and faculty were excellent. All around a good experience, good vibe, and great opportunities. Other factors have come into play, bringing me here, but I just felt like I owed it to Alabama to cast myself off with a little Southern graciousness. Good luck to everybody and enjoy Alabama if you end up attending.

Can anyone who has been accepted tell us how you found out? I know they call a lot of people, but did you see a decision made status before you heard? Was there anything at all indicating that you had likely been accepted?

Waiting for my decision once I know it has been made is the worst part.

Haha, cheers mate. I showed this to my mom and she got a kick out of it. We'll keep hoping the same. Hopefully I didn't get the boot on this apparent round of rejections that just went out. I was raised in a Crimson Tide household. I'd hate to have to betray my upbringing.

When I was accepted Page gave me a call. then i got a letter and a bunch of packages. then i notived the change on the status checker.
