Early Oct applicant here (under review) still waiting to hear.

Any rejections thus far? Also, does anybody know how to inquire about our status without pissing off the admissions?

The lack of activity this week, is making Sunday's acceptances very mysterious to me. I thought they were going to be an early start to a busy week of decisions. Now, I don't know what to think.

I'm ED complete since 11/04 and haven't heard anything. They must be passing my file around like a blunt and laughing about it before they reject me.

I'm ED, complete since 10/07, and a re-applicant. They have had about a year with my application. Hopefully they are using the time deciding not to waitlist me again.

They apparently aren't caring too much for my 175 either. Although, I'm RD.

UCLA waitlists so many people with 170+ that it is hard to tell what is yield protection and what is a genuine waitlist.

i'd imagine the splitters are more often those included in the "genuine waitlist"
