+1
I don't even have an "app complete" yet!

I called the admissions office and the lady said that it was incomplete, so she went back and checked it and then said that it was complete and that the system hadn't been updated. I guess that's what I get for applying 2 weeks ago! lol :/

Haha, trust me, being complete does not help your sanity! Complete since 12/2....if only they hadn't moved their EA deadline back a month (or if LSAC had processed my rec letters a little faster, either one would have worked!) lol
Best of luck!!!!

The call will come from a "(214)768-XXXX" number. The main number to the office of admissions is (214)768-2550.

It's funny how much we are all sitting here in anticipation for this school. How simpler and less stressful it would be if they didn't provide a date for a decision. I cant stop looking at the status checker and I'm really getting sick of jumping every time the phone rings, lol.

Did anyone request a brochure from SMU and actually receive one? I requested one back in August and again in November, but I still haven't received one. What gives? I just want to look at pretty pictures

I got one- it's pretty nice. Granted, I just threw away most of the brochures I received from various law schools so I don't have much to compare it to, but it seemed to do the trick nonetheless.

Did you request it or did they just send it through CRS? I'm jealous...

Damn, now I'm really jealous. I want to request one again, but I think it's probably pointless now.

Hopefully we'll both be receiving big glossy acceptance packages in the mail shortly with pretty pictures galore that put the brochure to shame

Well War Flamingo, I hate to break it to you, but by not having the brochure, you are missing out on some fine mullet action! Mullet boy is only a very small part of an otherwise classy brochure, but really, by not having access to him, you are missing out in life.
And I don't want pox!!! (Unless it comes with the acceptance letter...in that case, I'm willing to deal with most anything:)

I am fairly confident that I won't ever be bored in a class with yall. See you in the fall? (hopefully once admissions starts doing something we might actually have an idea if this is possible). Also, I asked for the brochure 3 times before I actually got it. Maybe one more request would put you over the top.

Stop checking! I told myself I was going to stop checking statuses all day, did my best to try not to all day, and went out last night .... came home and got into my #1 school via status checker.

You nailed it. I was freaking out, about to plan some huge visit/roadtrip because I thought I would be held/WL at every school. UGA just made my life bearable again haha.

Does anyone know when I should receive a decision from SMU around? I only applied in early December after getting a fee waiver from them in the mail. 171 and 3.5
