I should probably just chill and wait for a decision. Ha.
Edit: Sorry if I'm coming across as a crazy person. I'm not. I SWEAR. *hysterical maniacal laughter*

Just received a WL in the mail today. I'm a little surprised, I thought 168 and 3.9 would make me pretty competitive. As for where I live, I'm a Catholic living just outside of Springfield Illinois.

Unless it was some random, catastrophic error in your app, the only way I can figure that is no "why ND" essay (right?). If you consistently state your interest and ride it out, I'm sure you'll get in.

I did write a "Why Notre Dame." I thought it could be YP, but I didn't think that my numbers were that far above the 75%tile to really warrant one.

I went to LSAC.org and read over the application I submitted and there were no glaring issues. It's possible that Notre Dame put emphasis on averaging my LSAT scores, which is a few points lower than my high of 168.

Those numbers are /admit at ND. Maybe it's like you said and they average all LSAT takes rather than just considering the high score. Then again, even if you were 164/3.9 you'd still be very competitive at ND, IMO.

I took the plunge and sent in the first and second seat deposits today (gonna be underway on patrol when the second deposit would have been due). Here goes nothing...

Best of luck to those still waiting for a decision.

I'm shocked I even got in with all the people on here who have been waitlisted since I have a below median LSAT. Maybe I got a good PS and why ND?

So I called January 25th, and I was told that my app had recently been put in review and that a decision would be made within 10 days. Called again today and was told that it is still in review. Hoping for good news soon.

Seems like there's been a lot of waitlists. Does anybody know how big there waitlist is? Or how likely someone is to get off it?

In today via package in mail! No email or anything else.

Unfortunately, they didn't throw me enough scholly to make me pass up Texas. I'll always love you Notre Dame...
