I finally went under review today, after applying in late November and going complete on January 5. Hopefully it won't take them too long to review it now, because I applied for the public interest scholars program and I'm worried about getting disqualified because they didn't review my application in time. Does anyone know how long it usually takes once you go under review? Both of my numbers are above the 75th, so I think I have a pretty good chance of getting in, although I got priority reserve listed at Duke despite having numbers at or above the 75th, so I am taking nothing for granted.

Under review today as well. Think it's the first time, but not sure.

Worried, since someone with stats close to mine got regular waitlist. Back when I got deep into research, though, it looked like they'd let me in with my GPA as long as I got the score I got on my LSAT....

I'm surprised that so many are going UR today. I had figured that with the impending storm they'd have left the office for the weekend.

oh please. they're no wimps!

...not like any place further south, where they close school for a week after an inch and a half of snow.

I spent a winter in DC and we had classes canceled on Monday for snow that fell on Saturday...

JEALOUS! I'm in NY and they won't close school unless a blizzard causes about 4 feet of snow.

I'm pretty sure I am an auto-reject at GULC.

But my "Under Review" date has changed twice. Once from "Complete" to "Under Review" mid-January, and it just changed to "Under Review" 02/04.

Any significance to that, or just more messing with me before crushing me fully?

UR is Georgetown's version of UCR, the last step before a decision. I applied a long time ago, but it was about two weeks from UR to Decision Rendered. That said, acceptances only go by mail, so you won't know for a little while after the status checker changes.

Is two weeks between UR and DR consensus or was that just your experience?

I went UR on 1/29... Perhaps DR next friday?

ur since december here, just means they are taking a look at your file, I think in my case since I'm a splitter they are holding it until they see what their numbers look like

Yeah I'm a splitter too. 169/3.1. But my Peace Corps resume/PS seems to be a big factor this cycle, considering some of the admits and scholarship offers I get.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
