DR 2/2 just got the email, preferred waiting list. : ( they were my top choice.

what to do now??? I got 105k + free housing from GWU...should i stick out for georgetown's final decision.

Normal waitlist. I was expecting rejection, so I'm actually feeling good with my WL.

Should I take the GTown waitlist as a soft reject? Because the letter kind of makes it seem that way. Or do they actually pull from their normal waitlist?

i just went DR. (alumni interview 1/25, UR 1/26, UR 2/2) Is there consensus on how long it takes to get the email? (i'm expecting a WL)

i just noticed that it now just says "PT" instead of "Both." I'm guessing i got into PT but not FT...

The text of the e-mail says you are in a special group.

ok lol let me get this straight. there is a 2 waiting lists, one preferred---one regular. And among the "preferred" waiting list there is a "special group???"

According to the email i got im "within a special group on our Preferred Waiting List."

Does anybody know how many ppl are on this list versus how many ppl get off?
