I'd probably take MI with $$ over sticker at NYU, though.hyakku wrote:Honestly, if I got waitlisted now I'd be pissed, but I definitely think JMJ, TL and Luxxe might be most "righteous" in their anger if so. I might be above their LSAT median but I could logically accept being held because of my GPA (dunno if I'll reflect this initially in my attitude -_-).
Really though, at this point, I'm banking on either acceptances or WLs. If they denied us after waiting four months without even bothering to throw the WL bone that would be the ultimate kick in the nuts.
And honestly, every once in a while even grown men need to throw temper tantrums. Just limit it to once every half decade. So if a WL is in store, you might as well use up your tantrum limit now.
Edit: Although you're in at NYU long so if it makes you feel any less guilty, I'm thought dicking you

IIRC some WL riders last year came off of it with $$$. If they don't make WL decisions until June, however, I'll probably just withdraw. I'm not remotely in a financial position to lose deposit $ just to ride out a WL.Mr. Somebody wrote:Does a WL at Michigan mean you'll be paying sticker even if you eventually get off? If so I'll probably just withdraw right away and be done with it.

From what I can tell a few people got money (which is kind of weird, they got WLed and two almost got half rides), but it's likely sticker from WL.Mr. Somebody wrote:Does a WL at Michigan mean you'll be paying sticker even if you eventually get off? And yea, I don't wanna lose deposit money but I'm riding it out if I get on, got too attached now -_-.

Is this the thread with the most compulsive status checkers? Or what? Cause I just got this status checker for this application thing that's not at all law school related but I still check it everyday. I need someone to handhold me through the process of being a neurotic.

I'm here for the lakes. The Great Lakes, obviously, but also all the little inland lakes.

I'm holding out hope. No idea why, but I'm thinking things are gonna work out.
(But yeah, probably getting waitlisted).

Someone told me the trees are the right height in Michigan, which is currently giving it a leg up over Penn and UVA. No idea about tree sizes in Philly or Charlottesville.cogitoergosum wrote:Yeah, and the cars... Gosh, I loved cars as a kid. Every square foot of every car...Blumpbeef wrote:I'm here for the lakes. Charlottesville has amazing trees and better weather than Ann Arbor and Philly.bobbyh1919 wrote:Someone told me the trees are the right height in Michigan, which is currently giving it a leg up over Penn and UVA.
