So I guess if it says DR but no admitted student link, then you're fucked? Heh. Interesting. Well, I'm still complete. Perhaps I should have sent Cornellia a picture of my 8-pack abs and my perfectly shaped balls...

Rich people don't care about anything with "public" in it. Harvard would be best but if he couldn't get in there is no reason to try to waste money getting in. Rich people will just know that an Ivy is an Ivy, and they won't be looking up the rankings for it.Jericwithers wrote:Yet it is still the lowest Ivy (except in basketball). I hope everyone know I am just joking about all of this... It's boring waiting.

Come on, as a rich person, I can totally lie about graduating from harvard. I could graduate from Brooklyn law school, and then open up my own law firm and nobody but my clients would know that I'm lying. Family walks in, and all I have to do is push a button and all my brooklyn law posters and certificates flip over to my "got off the black market" harvard degree.
Seriously, lol, that wouldn't be so difficult to pull off.

That renders your original plan even more useless and pointless?GermX wrote:Come on, as a rich person, I can totally lie about graduating from harvard. Well I still want Harvard to stroke my balls. For personal reasons, I would still go there.

Sure, if you have no conflict with deceiving and lying to those you know. Yet I guess if your family had problems with moral issues like that then you probably wouldn't be so rich!GermX wrote:Come on, as a rich person, I can totally lie about graduating from harvard. This is absolutely ridiculous. If it's so easy, why don't you just create your own school with all that money you have and go there?GermX wrote:Come on, as a rich person, I can totally lie about graduating from harvard. Officially WL-ed. Since I'm sure there is zero chance of getting off their WL before my NU deposit deadline, I guess I'm not going to Cornell...

Pretty bummed, but I also saw it coming. You'll have to make a few visits to Chicago next year, CC.calicocat wrote:Holly Golightly wrote:Officially WL-ed. Since I'm sure there is zero chance of getting off their WL before my NU deposit deadline, I guess I'm not going to Cornell...![]()

Jesus, looks like a WL massacre. It seems as if they freaked out about over-enrolling and decided to waitlist everybody.
