TIM, have faith. things happen and they understand that. It sounds like you stayed calm and collective and that will pay off once you get that JS2 in a few weeks.TrustInMusic wrote:Just finished my interview.
The internet connection was misbehaving, and we tried multiple times to get in touch with one another. In the end, we resorted to conducting the interview via phone. I think the total time we spent talking was less than 10 minutes, and I tried to keep my responses short, because time was definitely working against me at that point. I really hope I did enough
I spent all of yesterday making sure the internet connection was going to be perfect and stable... and this happens

(Some have already heard.) I'd venture end of this month. You have to figure very soon every application will have been seen at least once.Anonymous4444 wrote:So when will the helds start hearing word?

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Looking back, it probably was not as bad as I thought it was immediately after the interview.
I remained calm, and answered relatively concisely, and still tried as best as I could to portray my personality given the time constraints.
Will be interesting what happens in 2 weeks time

If it makes you feel better, my JS1 was 12 minutes, which is definitely on the shorter side, based on the discussions here. I still got my JS2 a week later. I wouldn't worry too much about the length of the interview.TrustInMusic wrote:Just finished my interview.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but given how the cycle seems to have gone how much of a shot does a person with my numbers have anyway? 173, 1.79, otherwise a pretty unexceptional person (extracurriculars with leadership but no awards or cool WE, etc.). I have a weird need to know if I'm a very likely ding or could eke my way in as one of the bodies who props up the LSAT median.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
1.79 is just too far below the GPA floor. Remember that Harvard dings people over BOTH medians with regular softs. If they were going to need a 1.79 GPA to prop the LSAT median, they'd whore the over-both-median candidates more.nefftron wrote:Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but given how the cycle seems to have gone how much of a shot does a person with my numbers have anyway? 173, 1.79, otherwise a pretty unexceptional person (extracurriculars with leadership but no awards or cool WE, etc.). ETA: They're also going to wonder how the hell you graduated with a 1.79. I'm guessing the answer is re-enrollment, but the question will probably cross their mind.

Conspiracy theory george: it was a typo... 3.79. Hahha for the record though, if you have a 1.79, you could not get in. Your stats tho, you are def. not an auto ding or anything like that, keep the hope alive!TripTrip wrote:1.79 is just too far below the GPA floor. Whoops, dem typos happen when it's 2:00 in the morning. I have a 3.79...though how I came about it is somewhat interesting. I only have a 3.75 at my degree institution, but I took four history and poli-sci classes at a local college when I was in middle school for fun (I was a strange kid), and those classes totally still count.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Someone said something after the fact about getting an invite last Friday, but that was hardly a wave. We haven't had a big wave since 2/22 I think. Seems like they're winding down...TrustInMusic wrote:yeah... when was the most recent JS1 invite wave? I don't even recall!wert3813 wrote:Anyone interviewing today?
