Does it kind of seem like from the last two week's comments here that a bunch of people got updated on Mon/Tues/Weds and then found out WLs/rejection/SPWs on Friday? That's what it seems like to me.. but maybe I'm wrong? Nobody has announced an acceptance in a while on here it looks like!

Most people have been getting their WL/rejection emails the same day as their last update. Only a handful of people have reported getting an email days after their last update, so I think that's the exception, not the rule.

I haven't been paying that much attention to which days people have been getting emails, but there were lots of WL/rejections 2 Mondays ago, so I don't think they're only notifying people on Fridays.

I haven't seen any acceptances lately, either. It makes me wonder if they've already filled they're class and have to wait for people to withdraw?

I don't think that's the case. If it was, why would they have extended the deadline to apply? It wouldn't really make much sense.

I hope you're right though about it being the exception! I got an update 3/9 but no word yet on the decision--so I'm just hoping I don't get a WL/ding e-mail! (I don't have access to ASW... so it's not an acceptance if they made a decision on 3/9)

how long does it typically take GULC to render a decision. i sent my app. in 1/12 and there has not been an update to my status since 2/3. the wait is driving me crazy. i have to make a decision and seat deposit by 4/1 for one of the schools.
