Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
based on the fact that only 15 people have reported acceptances on LSN today, conservatively there are at least 200 JS2s to go around left (assuming even a 10 to 1 report/non-report ratio). We still have a chance!eyetelyuhwhut wrote:solidarity.curry1 wrote:I interviewed in early Nov...eyetelyuhwhut wrote:Anybody still waiting that interviewed early December?Smc1994 wrote:I'm in the same boat. Is it actually early for us to hear back? I thought I saw a few late Feb/early March JS1s on here get JS2s. Or have my RC skills completely deteriorated?

There are definitely people with our interview timeline who heard back. I think they're talking about it being too early for a rejection wave tho and I have no idea if that's right or wrong.WordsworthIsBae wrote:tartan2016 wrote:Lol i wasnt implying that we will be part of it. Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
There were 20 REPORTED JS2's in last year's final wave. That just means it was a normal-sized wave (approximately like this one). We know that people were accepted in it from the very first JS1 wave, and from pretty much every JS1 wave thereafter.Smc1994 wrote: Want to do some calming math for me?
If every JS1 starts out with a 75% chance, I would estimate that someone with good stats like yours who has missed a bunch of waves is now down to like a 50% chance (more if you consider the chance of getting in off the waitlist). There certainly haven't been and won't be enough interviews this week to fill up an entire final wave. Is it time to freak out? Absolutely. But you should've been doing that already. It isn't time to give up, though--not even close.

You guys could also be looking at a wave tomorrow, given that this is the first March wave. Last cycle, there were multiple March waves by this date. Hang strongcalpolisci2016 wrote:Was last month's wave also a half day?Smc1994 wrote:Based on last month's wave, looks like we're done here.
