Students admitted from the wait list will be evaluated for need-based financial aid."
Does this mean that there's no merit aid for admits off the WL?
Seems that way. Here's the full text:

"Students admitted from the wait list will be evaluated for need-based financial aid. Federal loans will be available, and all NYU Law JD graduates who work in an eligible public interest position are eligible to receive benefits from our generous LRAP program. Students who are admitted will receive a financial aid decision within one week of our receipt of the completed NYU financial aid application."

I mean, there isn't much time at all. Feel like they'd handle the WLs today. After that, it's over....
so I'm dinged?

this is incredible.

right? i don't want to believe they'd make us wait this long just to reject us which makes me not believe it but there's really no other outcome is there?

How do you even show interest to a school like NYU? Common sentiment seems to be not to submit a WhyX. I even went and toured the school in my free time a few months after submitting my app.

No DLS, no email, Still stuck in January UR. NYU astound me. I'm hearing back about upcoming WL movement from other schools before NYU say an initial word (ya know, other than be patient and false admitted student event invitations).

Frustrated af. I feel like now it's more likely a ding then WL at least for me. Waiting since November, nothing. Similar to Yale who waited to ding me the last possible Thursday when they released all their decisions - December applicant.

I believe there were multiple waves of waitlists earlier like the 13th

Given admissions have committed to sending out results by friday, it seems like there will be overlap on WLs and dings tomorrow and friday.

I have no idea what is going on...

Only one person with my numbers has been dinged by NYU in the last 4 cycles according to myLSN. I was hoping for a WL at least.

Anyone else with good numbers but no feedback?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
