I honestly think that it is typical for it to take over a month.acdisagod wrote:I've seen some people on this thread who have taken over a month to get a decision after they were under review. I'm guessing thats not typical. I just went under review today, does anyone have any idea how long it will take to get a decision?

I've been under review since 1/12/10. Based on numbers alone, I should be on auto-reject. How long do they keep you UR if you're an auto-reject? Does being UR for an extended period actually mean that they're reviewing you/discussing you all this time?

Didn't they say they would let us know by February 26? My guess is that they haven't given us a fresh look yet because they don't have to for a few more weeks.xcountryjunkie wrote:Figured so much. Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
They did say so, but they said that when I was UR 1/7. I figured that since my UR date changed they had at least flipped through my file again. Plus, I don't believe that all UR 1/7s became UR 1/19.mayosmith wrote:Didn't they say they would let us know by February 26? I wouldn't read into this. There's a ton of us who have auto reject numbers and have been under review close to or over a month.lovethelaw88 wrote:I've been under review since 1/12/10. Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I just hit submit on my application yesterday. 171/3.29.
This late in the cycle, I'm nervous as hell.
Plus, after reading the timeline you all seem to be experiencing, I'm guessing I won't know anything for a good long while.
Oh well, cheers! I'll be lurking this thread with you all for a while.

hey! how did you send your LOCI in (and when) and did you ask them to confirm that they received it or did they just out of their own free will let you know they received it?
THANKS and gluck!

Better sign for you than me who was in on their early ed deadline and currently on hold since 12-15. Sounds like a winner to me! Gluck!

Yo, how long does it typically take to go UR? I've been complete since 12/18 with nary a word since then.
FWIW, i applied PT only and my numbers are not terribly good...

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I sent it priority- unfolded. I didn't ask them to notify me that they received it but I sent an email to them last wk letting them know that I had sent it. It was just my way of bothering them again after abt a month. That's the last time I will contact them bc a month from now they'll give me my decision supposedly.MissLucky wrote:unknownscholar wrote:continued interest noted on my file today, via email.

DR 2/1! I'm a 171/3.75, so I'm hoping for good news. I haven't been able to access the admitted students site yet, though. Any idea how long it usually takes to receive the packet?

Great, DR 2/1 seems to be yet another acceptance batch that I'm not a part of.
