So I got DLS on Friday and have yet to access the ASW. Being the worrier that I am, is this pretty typical?

If you're in you should have access soon. The longest I've heard of it taking is five days.

After mindlessly trying to log into the ASW every hour, on the hour, since Monday...I've finally logged on. If I had champaign, I would most likely consume a portion of it, re-cork it, and try returning it--because honestly, I can't afford champaign.

What I'm basically trying to say is, I'm very happy about this and I'm sorry if my neurosis came off as overbearing. I guess I'll just settle for the champaign of beers.

Congrats Spacepenguin! I knew you were in from when you didnt get the rejection email

I thought so to, but then yesterday came and went without access to ASW, and my mind spiraled into analyzing the situation way more than I needed to.

Congrats! But you have TOO much law school on the mind. It's spelled champagne for the drink, and Champaign for urbana Champaign (UIUC) lol.

Congrats! It's a good thing the asw wasn't live when I went DLS, otherwise I would have been the same way!

srvyorgeneral, don't give up hope! You must have had very strong soft factors to get into Berkeley. Best of luck to all of us waiting!

Submit 1/08, UR 1/31, a little unoptimistic because of the amount of time it's taking for me to get a decision (acceptances don't seem to take this long for NYU, typically), but it's ok... Ive already resigned myself to my likely fate.

I haven't heard anything back from any of my schools. I can't decide if it's nicer to keep the hope alive for a little while or just get bad news over with.

Found out I was accepted today after receiving an invite in the mail for ASW! Still haven't received my package but called NYU to confirm and successfully logged onto the admitted students area on the website so I am officially celebrating! I'm in Canada and the same thing happened to a friend of mine who only got his invite today too. I feel so dumb for not checking the online status checker more often because it changed to DLS on March 7 so I could have known so much earlier!
Oh well so psyched now.

Does any one know if law students generally live in the law residences or do most people go on their own in an appt?

At the first ASW they said something along the lines of 2/3 of 1Ls and probably a little under half of overall students live in the residence halls.

Finally went DLS today. Went UR 2/9, nothing since. Anyone else get DLS today? Can't wait until Monday after 5 to check ASW. Expecting DING, but at least I can have some hope for the weekend.
