Wow, good to know. How are the offers going to come? Email/snail/spotted owl?
I'm pretty sure they're electronic. I think somewhere on the admitted students site it says something along the lines of, "We'll email you when you can check out your financial aid award on Axess."
The thing is, you can't access Axess (hah) until you have a SUNet ID, which you won't get until you confirm enrollment, so I'm not entirely sure how it will work for those people who are still undecided.
Not surprised that crackberry beat me even though it was a question from my own post.
And you can get a SUNet ID without confirming. I don´t remember how I did it, but I have not confirmed enrollment, and I ain´t no genius, and I just checked Axess to see if I had a notification.
EDIT:
Sorry for the multiple posts ----- I think you go here (
https://sunetid.stanford.edu/main/SUNetIdApp/CreateApp) and put in the 8-number ID from your admit packet.

Congratulations to the new admits.
Somebody with more fame (notoriety?) than I have should start an ASW thread.

I would do it, but what would we discuss there that we wouldn't discuss here? Also, wouldn't it be more useful
after ASW?

Brand building. The more active threads with "Stanford" on the front page the better.

Good point. I'll start one.* So should I assume from the tone of your recent posts that you're going to Stanford unless Yale comes calling?
* not today though.

In this morning. Would someone be kind enough to put up the ASW dates. I'm sure I could search for them pretty easily but I figure its easier to wait 30 seconds for Crackberry's response.

Why must the Bay Area weather be so awesome right now? I'd be crazy to leave this for the East Coast.

I was just thinking the same thing while looking out my office window and seeing no clouds, there's a breeze, the sun is warm! Dammit!
Also, did people get a confirmation when their fin aid app was complete/being processed?

Hell, I think I'm crazy for leaving Colorado...giving up 320 days of sun a year?
Hope Palo Alto weather lives up.
