Also in via phone call today. My first T1 acceptance so I'm very excited. I hope I can get some $$$ being OOS.

Like a Snickers, a phone call from Mason accepting you to their part-time program satisfies.

In and done. Withdrawing from the other schools tomorrow.

Congrats to the other folks on their calls today!

if you don't get a call by end of day, then worry.

My status went blank on 2/3. There is no mention that I will receive a response within 2-4 weeks or anything like that. I haven't received a call, either. Any thoughts or anyone similar?

They lost your application... Sorry.

Haha. Don't worry. Im sure you'll get something on there soon.

Im pretty sure I was rejected though. I've had the "Letter will be sent..." message for a few days now, but no phone call. Im hoping that maybe they dont call everyone they accept, but it seems like they do. ha!

What are your stats? My status went blank the day they called me. I'm not sure that they call everyone though.

Just checked status checker...."decision will come in 2-4 weeks" I checked yesterday but I can't remember what time....no call. Sadface!! Something about GMU really stuck with me, and I have been hoping about them the entire cycle. :( Bummed.

Word on the street is that they are significantly cutting back their PT program this year. 30 students or something of the sort?

Going to be interesting to see the effect that that has on the rankings next year.

So regular splitters are getting dinged...maybe a reverse splitter like me has a shot...? *flawed logic*

From what I've seen this cycle is weird as hell.

I think you're safe, they love extremely high GPA people. Why did u not apply to U-Maryland? IN-state tuition is a steal, especially in this economy.

I believe their part time program always hovered around 50 to 60. It wasn't the PT LSAT/GPA that got them, its the top notch faculty they lost to Chapman that tanked their ranking. Irrespective of the ranking however, the quality of their education didn't decline.

I absolutely hate Baltimore. I'm from Montgomery County and so I've grown up in/around DC...if the law school were in College Park, I would have applied. I just hate Baltimore that much. Irrational? Maybe, but it would be too far to commute and the only housing I could afford in B-More is the projects. haha.

Have they been calling the day/evening numbers or the cell numbers? For whatever reason, I somehow ended up with my parents number for my cell number.
