Yup I did. I think it's just a generic email. Technically their deadline for applying for Fin Aid was yesterday, so I think they're just sending out a reminder to everyone. Note to all: Include your parent's info on the FAFSA! I already submitted mine, THEN saw the requirement to include parental info on the supplemental application for Penn State. Now I've got to wait for it to be processed to submit a corrected version....oh joy.

Rejected via e-mail. Really quick turn around (in review since last Friday)...I guess they knew for sure they didn't want me.

I got my waitlist email today. I also thought the tone of the email sounded promising. Penn St is one of my top schools and I am probably going to write a loci. How long should I wait to do this?

tried and failed. admittedly, i didn't have a lot of ammo, but the guy i contacted was very friendly and understanding of the need for as much financial help as possible.

My mailing list changed to 3/2 I'm hoping that this is scholly info, Pennsylvania is much nicer than ohio.....

Actually I'm pretty sure that is the Fin Aid email they sent to us on Tuesday. You'll probably notice that you've also got a mailing date of 2/25 on there which is when our acceptance emails were sent.
