Congrats on going DR! I hope you get a nice acceptance letter in your mailbox soon.
I was put IR in mid-december and got the rothman invite, should I bother writing the essay and sending the application if I haven't heard back. Also, should I contact them if I don't go DR soon because the essay is due in a week and a half? (I'm thinking that's a bad idea because it will probably just annoy them haha)

Me too.... but I'm willing to bet (with my impossibly slow mail delivery) I won't get an envelope for at least 2 weeks!

I'm gonna be so pissed if Harbaugh bolts for USC. If he comes back to the Farm next year on the USC sideline, he should be tarred and feathered.

Is your IR date 1/8? I was complete 11/9 and then went IR
today but for some reason my IR date is 12/22.
IR as of today and mine also says 12/22. odd... Well I'm happy to finally be reviewed! *cross fingers*

My complete status changed to IR today but the date also says 12/22. I don't have high hopes of being accepted. I think my aspirations for a USC acceptance are going to come to a close very soon.

I went IR on 12/21 and DF today! USC is my first choice right now, so I'm hoping for good news soon. Now I just need to write the darn Rothman essay.

Wow, we are like twins: exact same numbers, living in the bay, UC UG, out for 3-4 years, female. Well here's hoping for the both of us! At least we have Hastings. Try to stay positive.

Good luck to you too!!! I will stay positive for both of us. I am very excited about Hastings though. I love the Bay Area!

Is a $.50/hr raise and small bonus in Law Office Admin Assistant position worth writing in and telling them about? I've only had the job for four months and it was evaluation time so almost everyone got a raise, but nothing has happened with my app in a month and I don't want them to forget about me.

It depends- are you "complete" or "In Review"? I had a slight change to my resume I wanted to update so I called yesterday to ask what to do. bc I am "In Review" the person on the phone said there is nothing she can do to update my profile, and that it will be reviewed as is.

I've been "in review" since 12/15. I thought it said on the app instructions that they wanted to hear from you if you had good news to share. I just wasn't sure if that news was impressive at all.

Shiz. That question is now moot. "Decision Finalized" 1/12
Finalized....sounds so ominous.

I really don't understand why they can't just post the decision on our status checker. Or email the decision. Sure a letter is nice to receive with good news, but bad news I'd much rather get via the internet. Makes it less significant.
Anyhow, I shouldn't have to wait too long. I'm in San Diego so even if its snail mail I'll get it by Thursday.

I feel like we are opposites, lol. I'm love the suspense of checking my mailbox ('common, really, how often is checking the mailbox a thrill). I can't check my personal email at work so I have to wait until I get home everyday to check that, also. Maybe I'm a masochist... haha
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
