There are a few batches of under review dates. Those of us who submitted really early (mostly on 10/1, the first day the application became available on LSAC) have been under review since 10/19. There was another batch that went under review on 10/22 and another on 11/2. No one really knows what it means though.

does berkeley's status checker go from "under review"----> "under committee review", or is it always "under review" before a decision comes out? i'm asking because i was reading the interview with dean tom, and he says he reviews most of the files first, and if he is not sure about them they go to committee.

Haven't been watching the trends and graphs like some of you but I did call the school about a week ago... the woman that answered the phone said that no more decisions would be coming out until December... I'm not sure whether to believe it or not, but just a heads up.

i'm under review, have been since 10/22. I'm with an earlier poster though, I've stopped checking the status stuff. It'll come when it comes. I'll probably know what bowl I need to buy tickets to before I know if I'm going to Berkeley.

Bah, you're probably right. My cycle is going pretty crummy so far, so some good news around now would be nice.
