Also received the fee waiver today. Also already had one. Asked for the service based waiver a few weeks ago. If only we could trade in two fee waivers for an acceptance!

Thoughts on Northwestern ED?
At 3.45/171 I'm sure I won't get it, but I've heard tell it boosts your chances of getting in in regular admission if you get deferred.

Best outcome for those numbers would be 150k from NU easily, so go for it

To clarify, I have no illusions I'd get ED, I'm just wondering how real people think the boost being deferred ED>RD is and whether there are any disadvantages.

A few have with your numbers, and think you're working right now so that helps. No disadvantages I don't think. I got WL after EDing and getting bumped to RD, which was likely due to my lack of WE. Maybe they saw me as not being interested in attending for what my numbers usually warrant there and thus YP'd me in a sense, but idk. FWIW, I ended up getting off the WL midsummer, getting lowballed, and then getting offered the number I expected to begin with after negotiating (which was double their lowball lol). I think you'll be fine, though

Just got an unsolicited waiver from Cornell and saw that Michigan waived my fee too! Nice surprises after the Duke/UVA swerves.

Literally had emailed Cornell this morning asking for a fee waiver and they said "We only do that through CRS" then I got the fee waiver like an hour later lol

Just got my first one from W&M... I'm actually surprised to have not received anything else from all the other schools you all are mentioning I have CRS and 172 LSAT... Do you think that it could be because it is a retake? (It'd be weird)
I think I'll wait another day or two and then I'll send a bunch of e-mails

I have a one-take above all the 75ths of schools that send merit waivers minus Columbia and URM status, but didn't get waivers from two of my big target schools. Who knows what the calculus is at the end of the day?

Well I don't have a reportable GPA so yes that could be a sort of "common" cause... Still incredible that you didn't get anything with the other number you're running with!
