Same, at around 10am (EST). It didn't offer anything new substantively, just was a reminder of how the waitlist worked. The interpretation people in the earlier linked Reddit page are coming to is off, though; as recapped previously in the thread, you aren't committing to acceptance in advance, you'll just have a 24-hour window to decide if & when they offer you a spot.

Does anyone else also have absolutely no updates to write about for LOCI and is freaking out?

Working at a mundane 9-5 job... no promotion... or major projects to write about... sigh

Also struggling with this...don't know what to write besides "I really want to come and will drop everything and hoof it to Cambridge if you accept me (please accept me)"

Can anyone post a link to the Harvard financial aid calculator. I want to figure out what my financial package would look like

it doesn't seem clear if it's okay to not say will attend if accepted in the loci. one may want to be open to dropping out later.
thoughts?

You want to send an LOCI saying you have doubts on attending? Don't do that. Promise you will respond within 24 hours that's all they ask. Be prepared to never attend HLS if you turn down the offer.

Just being on the waitlist implies that you're ready to take the offer within 24 hours. If you don't want to restate that in the letter, don't. But if you accept and later renege, as Npret said: "Be prepared to never attend HLS."

^ when is the offer considered accepted is i think ambiguous. i think there is choice one is allowed to make in 24 hours after offer, without sabotaging any chances when reapplying.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
