So is there any type of class of 2020 Facebook group/page or something like it? I've seen ones for other schools and it might be helpful in networking and stuff throughout this semester and summer!

As a follow-up to this. After getting their e-mail about the financial aid application process, I decided to go ahead and see what type of need-based funding I might receive. After submitting my Fin aid form, I received an e-mail the next day (perhaps coincidental but probably not) with a 30k merit scholarship offer. Merit offers of more than 16k per year disqualify you from need-based grants so a 10k per year offer could work out better in the long run than, for example, a 30k offer. I'm curious to know what I might qualify for in terms of need-based funding.janereacher wrote:In w/ no money so I will be shortly turning them down.

Thanks! Just went ahead and filled it out. Still waiting on a few offers, but I think I have enough schollies from higher-ranked schools to give them something to think about lolmusiclover123 wrote:It's on the accepted students site!brinicolec wrote:Ugh, there's a form?! Did anyone receive a confirmation email for registering for preview day? I can't remember if I registered or not but don't want to accidentally register twice.

Is there anywhere online that displays our scholarship offer? I seem to have misplaced the page of my admission letter that indicated the amount
I know what it is, but I need it for the purpose of showing other schools what it is.

Yep. I did. I guess all admitted students would have. Might attend the one at end of March. Was just wondering if the scheduled class would be a mock class or is it possible to attend a real class? Sit with the present students?m1304 wrote:Did anyone receive a confirmation email for registering for preview day? The mini-preview earlier this month sat in on a real class, we could actually choose from 3. I'd imagine for the large one they'd move a class to a larger room to accommodate everyone, but have current students there.BEng,MBA,FRM,JD(?) wrote:Yep. I did. Has anyone got a response about their scholarship reconsideration request?

Re: George Washington c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Not likely. There are only Admitted Students Receptions, and the DC one was Feb. 8.charles117 wrote:is there a travel stipend here?
EDIT: there's a $250 travel stipend for the March 31 preview event, only if you matriculate.
"A reimbursement of up to $250 for travel expenses (airfare, train tickets, bus fare, car mileage) incurred to attend either Preview Day or Mini-Preview will be available upon matriculation in August. Please hold on to your receipts, which may be turned into Law School Fiscal Services between Orientation and September 15, 2017"
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
