2 weeks for me, but I interviewed on a Friday so yours may be faster because of the weekend delay.88234 wrote:Just completed my interview. What's the usual turnaround from interview to decision?

Does anybody know when to expect initial financial aid packages to be offered? I'm thinking about reaching out the admissions department to start negotiating, but if they still might make me an initial offer I'll probably hold off.

I don't know when they start sending out this information but I would wait until you know whether you've been offered a scholarship or not to start negotiating...you don't know your starting point for negotiation right now?PDX4343 wrote:Does anybody know when to expect initial financial aid packages to be offered? In the 2019 thread, feeler emails went out asking about scholarship preference (how much it would take for you to consider Georgetown) in mid-February. Then offers went out after those. So we have quite a wait still.PDX4343 wrote:Does anybody know when to expect initial financial aid packages to be offered? For sure, that's what I'm thinking. I just wasn't sure if they had already started sending some out yet, in which case I might have wanted to let them know my situation.lsa16 wrote:I don't know when they start sending out this information but I would wait until you know whether you've been offered a scholarship or not to start negotiating...you don't know your starting point for negotiation right now?PDX4343 wrote:Does anybody know when to expect initial financial aid packages to be offered? Hi everyone! So I applied ED and was deferred about 2 weeks ago
I'd like to think that this means I still have a chance, but now I'm worried that they admitted only the strongest ED applicants so far and then deferred the rest. I haven't seen anyone post about an ED rejection yet on here. Am I totally off base here? I'm definitely sending in a LOCI but still very worried. Thanks guys!

Congratulations! I just got asked to interview today (didn't submit my app until Nov 9th). I was wondering if you could tell us a little about your interview? Was it more formal or casual?anrf1225 wrote:I did the group interview Nov 3rd and just got my acceptance letter today!SmallK wrote:Ahh, I hope so -- thank you!!govlife wrote:Last week most people got them Friday or Saturday, so don't panic yet! In via snail mail! Caught me off guard, I did one of the voluntary group interviews in Boston before I ever applied and haven't heard anything since submitting other than a pretty quick status check email that hasn't updated since receiving it. Congrats to others and best of luck to all still waiting!
