That packet took over a month to arrive for me last year. This website has all of the same information: http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/admissions/admitted/btruj777 wrote:Any one get the packet yet?
IIRC, your username is the email you used to apply and your password is your LSAC number, L included.

I would probably "muiltiply ticket price X # of attendance. But in real life, I'll just google it. Invited to interview. Is it a good sign? At least not a bad sign? At least it indicates there's no lethal toxic part in my app?

Re: Cornell c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
They had a question like this during my McKinsey interview. Basically, they want to see how you'd think so you'd probably want to research historical attendance at summer olympics, generate an assumption if attendance will increase/ decrease/ stay the same based upon X factors, and multiple that assumed number by the average price of tickets (not all tickets are the same price) (possibly also do weighted average).hellohalo wrote:I would probably "muiltiply ticket price X # of attendance. Another question I had during an interview for a strategy consulting firm was "how many golf balls were lost last year in England? Tell us your thinking." Kind of fun questions but unfortunately wasn't in the Cornell interview for me :/

Don't sweat it. They just want to see how you think. They don't expect you to actually think like a lawyer at this point (if you could, why would you need law school?), just gotta prove you can apply logic and common sense to real world questions.Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Just got my interview request!!

the revenue Q is a practice question. I used that time to practice my why cornell response, and not waste mental energy on the unrelated Q

Does it seem like the interview requests went out to almost all applicants, or do interview requests suggest a path to acceptance?

How long after applying are people receiving interview requests?

probably a path to acceptance, received status checker email 12/17, and I haven't gotten anything. Cornell's a huge reach though <25% LSAT, 50%<GPA<75%Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Does it seem like the interview requests went out to almost all applicants, or do interview requests suggest a path to acceptance?
Or has anyone with better numbers (read: LSAT score) received their status checker around the same time and not gotten an interview invite yet?

I'm going to assume that you meant to write 11/17 haha but don't worry, Cornell's a bit of a reach for me as well and I received my status checker email on 11/3 and received interview request this morning.studyingeveryday wrote:probably a path to acceptance, received status checker email 12/17, and I haven't gotten anything. Been ready for review since 11/9, still ready for review but updated to 12/12 with no interview request yet. I'm at exactly the 25%s for both and am an URM so Cornell is a bit of a reach. Should I be preparing myself for a rejection?

I can't imagine they will slight you for your LSAT, but I don't know if Cornell does strict cut-offs for GPA.brownbird wrote:Been ready for review since 11/9, still ready for review but updated to 12/12 with no interview request yet. I was a splitter, had exactly her same story with UR times and got dinged the next day after UR2. Not URM.Rubbishdump wrote:I can't imagine they will slight you for your LSAT, but I don't know if Cornell does strict cut-offs for GPA.brownbird wrote:Been ready for review since 11/9, still ready for review but updated to 12/12 with no interview request yet. Interesting, but I'm above both 75ths and the same thing happened to me today, the update to 12/12. So I'm not sure you can really extrapolate anything meaningful from the date change regarding decisions.88234 wrote:I was a splitter, had exactly her same story with UR times and got dinged the next day after UR2.
