Can you apply for fin aid before being admitted?

Yes. Pree sure they emphasize applying for fin aid even before you get admitted cause of the deadline of (march 1st?)

you can submit FAFSA, but you can't access their required FAAST application until being admitted

So I was admitted today.

HOWEVER I don't think there's a wave, because my situation was fairly unusual. Basically a YLS faculty member I met at an event called the office and asked for permission to tell me I got in. Given that no one else is sharing that they got in, I think this was a one-off.

Yea I received the email last night. Looks like 43% of offers have been made: 113 people have been invited/joined the fb group, and 260 offers were made last year.

Not exactly tho. a decent amount (maybe 10?) of those in the fb group were deferrals from last year (like myself). and another couple are admissions officer. I think there have been closer to 100 offers

According to reported acceptances on LSN and on here, the only acceptances have gone to people who applied in October or November. Wouldn't 100 offers (out of an expected 260) be a lot to have already given away, assuming that they haven't even gotten into December/January/February offers yet?
