So I scheduled a tour for Friday to try and gain some favor. There was a typo in their confirmation email and I don't know if they'd be thankful or bothered if I pointed it out...

Looks like the first offers went out around the 6th last year! Hopefully we'll see a similar timeline

Does anyone know whether scholarship offers will be arriving by email or snail mail?

I think it's been email in the past

Signed onto MyUCLA yesterday looking for something else and the homepage had a link to "View your Financial Aid Provisional Award Letter". When I click it, it just says it isn't available yet, but perhaps it's a sign it'll be coming soon? I expect they'll send out an email once the award letters are available.

At least you got into your top choice.

When did you go complete?

I see that too. I did just recently submit FAFSA/NeedAccess and wonder if that could be related? Either way, hopeful that awards will come out this month!

Lol after I read this I checked myUCLA I've had since undergrad before realizing you probably got one when you got admitted... Not my brightest moment.

I was actually signing into my undergrad account haha. I was trying to find some old financial aid info for filling out the NeedAccess and I saw that link on the homepage. I was really confused and thought it was for an old award since they gave me a different login when I was admitted, but I guess they're linked!

Well I'm just going to assume they only get linked after you set up the second one so I don't have another thing to anxiously check.

Congrats though, it seems like good news is headed your way!

Thanks. I started Monday with a good feeling about this week, and since it doesn't seem like there have been many admits this week yet I still have hope!

Yes, I probably wouldn't have gone to UCLA but was hoping for a scholarship.

I applied in early November, but only went complete in early December.

Just read through last year's thread. People were being admitted (with $$) in late February and even into March who applied and went complete pretty early, so the wait seems trivial. Also scholarships were being sent via email starting around mid/late-Feb.

I'm taking a tour tomorrow morning and I plan on talking to an admissions counselor. I'll let y'all know if I learn anything interesting. If anyone has any questions they'd like me to try and find the answer to let me know.

Good luck tomorrow!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
