What are UR suppose to mean? I had submitted 10/29 and UR 12/19 and UR2 1/6. How much longer should a decision be?

UR 1 is the first under review date change and then UR2 is the second under review date change.

UR1 and UR2 both refer to your status being "under committee review" - UR1 is the date when you first go "under committee review" from "complete" and UR2 refers to when the date changes, but the status remains "under committee review."

I think (not entirely sure, but from what I've gathered) the consensus is that UR1 refers to the first person reading your application, and UR2 refers to the second person, as there are at least two people who review each app.

Can you only tell if you're a UR1/UR2 if you've been paying attention to the status checker? Didn't check it until 1/6, when I saw I was under review on 1/5. Submitted late December. Would love it to be UR2.

I went UR1 1/5 and UR2 1/8 so it is possible yours is UR2.

Whoops just kidding. Checked my status checker before submitting the prior message and was at UR 1/5. Just checked - UR 1/8. UR2 Class of 1/8!

Fingers crossed this means our decisions will come out next 1-2 weeks. Really excited about Penn.

History suggests tomorrow will be about 50% admits, 40% W/L, and 10% rejections.
