Just Google the number. If it's from an admissions office it'll show up

They also probably would have left a message
i did google, and it's a nondescript / non-identifiable number. common sense suggested the message part but i was so excited by the possibility i wanted to bounce it off people!
Did you call the number back?

I missed the call and they left me a message on my voicemail.

If it's 203-432-XXXX, it's a Yale number. The 432 range is used exclusively by Yale.

Quick question about the application (sorry if wrong thread), and thanks so much in advance -- for the college activities, should one simply list the activity and hours per week? Or like in a resume, should it also include lines of detail for each activity?

From what I've seen on here there is no right answer. The correct response is whichever you feel better represents your application and which you feel is necessary. I believe people have gotten in with both types of formats and people certainly have been applying with both types. I don't think they specify on the (203) blog if they prefer one or the other.

In minimally related news, yesterday, a "hard R-Rated," gritty short film about none other than the Power Rangers was put out by Adi Shankar. It stars James Van Der Beek (Dawson of Dawson's Creek) as the red ranger and Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck of Battlestar Galactica) as the pink ranger. And I guess Lionsgate is planning a full-length feature, not necessarily of the same tone. Who knew? I haven't been able to watch it yet, but you know I will. You can watch it for free online--it's about 14 minutes.
Edit - Here's a link: http://bit.ly/1D8Gm5j

Congrats to many of you on submitting the application! The Yale Mary is a formidable one and I think people deserve props for seeing it through.

About how long did it take people to go complete? Yale emailed me to say they'd received my app over a week ago, and LSAC sent in my report immediately, but since then nothing. A little worried :(

I think Asha will probably return to phone calls once she gets her voice back. I don't know how I'd rather have my acceptance come... phone call so I can have the joy of seeing "New Haven, CT" flash across my phone, or email so I don't have to hold back the giant emotional response I'm sure I'd have.

Most likely, I'll just have to be content with receiving that acceptance in my dreams *sigh*

Anyone know Yale's policy on updated resumes? I know UChi doesn't accept updates that might supplement your app once you go complete, whereas HLS and SLS do. Don't know about Yale though...

They accept them, but don't promise that the reviewers will actually see them. If they haven't gotten to it yet they will, if they have they probably won't notice.

I'd say it couldn't hurt.

AFTER A MIRACULOUS SPOT OF THE BALL IT LOOKS LIKE NICKHALDEN MAY HAVE TIME AND DISTANCE FOR A YALE MARY. JUST SECONDS REMAIN. HE'S RUSHING THE OFFENSE TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.

Edit: But seriously LSAC and the Yale website still list the date as 2/28. Will LSAC still take the app if submitted later than 2/28?
