Does anyone else using a Mac and Safari have issues (read: can't access) the status checker? It only happens to me for Vandy and UVA, all other schools work. Anyone have a fix for this other than DL'ing another browser?

Yes. I happens to me too for Vandy. I haven't applied to UVA.
So I used Chrome for Vandy, and it works nicely.

Great, glad to know I'm not the only one. I use a work computer and can't DL another browser, so I was hoping there would be a fix other than Chrome.

I'll just keep using my phone.

Interviewed 11/10 (Black said I was probably in), status checker changed 11/12, admissions packet (with scholarship) on 11/15. I'm in DC, not too far from UVA for postal purposes.

I don't think it's meaningful because I've heard zip from UVA since submitting in mid-October and I have those fees listed.

I don't think that is significant; it just means you haven't been accepted yet. Mine has the actual amounts (i.e. $500) listed now that I have been accepted.

Interviewed yesterday and was offerred admission today. Submitted 11/17.

Just curious if anybody knows more about the interview selection process? Do all those accepted get invited to interview? Do most people get an interview? I didn't realize there was an interview in the process until i was invited to one the other day.

This is absolutely my dream school and I would really like to know more about what this invitation could mean. If anyone has participated in the interview and has any tips/comments, I would be eternally grateful for your advice as I have mine very soon!

FYI, I applied to UVA last and got my decision first. With my stats....if I'd have listened well enough I probably could have heard the committee laugh all the way from Arkansas. Either way, UVA is my dream school and they can't kill my dreams that easy! This may not be the last time they reject my application.

According to my interviewer, they interview applicants they are "strongly considering." So an interview doesn't promise an acceptance, but it's a neccesary step in the process, and a very good sign that they like your app! My interview was very laid back, mostly about my resume and why I was interested in law/UVA.
