Also, since ND changed there grading system a few years ago, does anyone know what the approximate GPA percentile cutoffs are now? I heard Dean's List was around top 10%???

A- is a 3.66, so my rough guess is 5% A, 10% ~ 15% A-, that would be about 20%, maybe slightly more.classycat924 wrote: Ah thanks! So do you know what percentile a 3.6 is approximately?

Doesn't look like anyone else in this thread is trying for the AR position. ND or Kyle, based on your experience with ND, any pointers on my Meet & Greet Thursday. The set up is like an open house. Rectors from all the residences will be set up, and I'll go and wander and introduce myself. They'll choose people to interview from this.
I feel like most applicants are 2Ls or other graduate students in their second year at ND, so my biggest disadvantage is not being integrated into the culture. The nature of culture is that you probably can't convey too much on here, but if you have anything to add, I'd be appreciative!

Oh no! Have you talked to anyone about it. I ask because a person in the Housing Department insinuated that this is basically the only way Rectors choose interviews. I imagine you could get some interviews with Rectors over the phone, but I'd call Housing and get yourself an in. Good luck to you to, too. This position would easily make my decision for me.paymytelephonebillz wrote:

The Dean's List cutoff hasn't changed (3.6). But a few more people usually make it every semester now that there is an actual grading policy. It is usually around 35 people.

Thanks for that! I did call, and they had me write an email to someone explaining my situation. I just won't be able to drive 5+ hours through the snow in my beater of a car.
Yea same for me too, getting it would definitely make my decision much easier... who knows maybe my sparkling personality will jump from the pages

I had the initial complete and then two more date changes, with "decision made" coming about a week after the second change.Austinbound wrote:3rd complete day today? How many completes was it for you guys?

I think I had an initial complete, then a 2nd complete 3-4 weeks later, then a decision about 6 weeks later. So I only had 2 complete dates, I believe.Austinbound wrote:3rd complete day today? How many completes was it for you guys?

I only had one complete date, but that doesn't seem normal here.Austinbound wrote:3rd complete day today? How many completes was it for you guys?

Had my status go to decision made yesterday but my deposit numbers are still 00.00. Does this mean I'm denied, given that everyone who got admitted had their numbers change?

Notre Dame I've heard such great stuff about your admitted students brochure.. Can I please have one??
Went complete 1/9, no updates since then. I know I'm being unreasonably impatient but you're the only people who understand.
