How inclusive are the LSN graphs? Do none of these schools admit ANY outliers? Just wondering...

Re: Columbia c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
There is some self-selection bias with LSN so that certainly plays into it. But be aware schools really have trouble admitting someone that doesn't help one of the two medians. A school like NYU will likely take a 170/3.2 or 168/3.9 over the 169/3.6. Note: I didn't check these specific combos with LSN, I just used them to make a point about the regions we see on the graphsgoldgirl786 wrote:How inclusive are the LSN graphs? It would take you all of 5 minutes and $25 to apply now. So you are bothering us with your shit question...why?luckystar84 wrote:still haven't submitted yet lol. got a fee waiver email a while ago. i'm waiting on js2 or no-js2. I know duke said that the PT 10 day thing might be thrown off in mid-dec because they go on xmas break. is there any point in submitting to cls before xmas? I'm looking to be in the first wave in late Jan (>75%, >75%)

And lucky, if you don't want to apply to Columbia, then don't. It seems you've already decided under what conditions you would apply and wouldn't.
