It might've been sent to people in the area. I received 96k scholarship and did not get the email, so it isn't only for scholarship recipients. It may also only be for recipients of scholarships involved in public service though too.

I went back and read and apparently some students who have yet to be admitted got it too, so I am unsure how they selected.

I think most schools do this. It just really diminishes your chances to submit after the deadline.

Talked to the admissions office on the phone and asked about the online chat. They said it was only for admitted students, which is odd considering some people that are still Complete got invited.

Decision rendered February 27th! Anxiously waiting and fingers crossed that it's not a rejection letter.

Congrats on the new acceptances.

Did anyone else attend the chat session today?

I can honestly say I am a bit more excited with attending LLS this fall.

I wish I would have asked when you learn which section you are in, and what time classes will be at.

That information could be the difference for me from living in downtown LA or in santa monica/venice beach.

Its kind of funny too, everyone everywhere recommends relaxing before 1L... and ive got LOTS of boating, drinking, and fun scheduled, but im actually more anxious to get Law school started and get on with my life.

I know what you mean. I have heard the "relax before 1L" mantra as well. My thought is to get all 1L materials in advance and cover the year before school goes in lol.

You'll get section assignments a few weeks before orientation starts and your class schedule depends entirely on what section you're in.

Also don't try to cover anything before 1L starts. Enjoy your time off.

I mean that there was no movement since my status became complete and then .. during february I got 3 emails with the same content: "Thank you for submitting an application to Loyola Law School! While waiting can be tough, ...." the 3rd I got yesterday. It seems that they began to review my application at last.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
