Re: Yale c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
This is awesome! Thanks a ton. I think I could do without any finer resolution--if the 9 people in my range who got in are all 3.74/180, I don't need to know that.
Fun fact: 11% (% chance of admission with 3.5-3.74/175-180) is also the Red Dawn remake's score on Rotten Tomatoes!

So you're saying there's a chance. I'll take a few points over 0 anyway

My phone was handy but it didn't ring
.
Their application deadline isn't until March 1, but they start crushing dreams the first week in February right?

In!!!! Got the call on my handy phone at 9:08 EST (it wasn't Asha) tonight...still floating on air.
Complete 12-13, rest of stats on my LSN profile..
I actually spent the whole day waiting from a call from Stanford that never came (I killed my battery and then some just checking my phone to see if I had missed any calls), so I was a little disappointed...until the call came from New Haven.

Hopefully you got the call awhile ago cause I'm assuming this train has passed over my station so I am going to bed.

Sorry I didn't put that in my post, too excited to think: I got the call about 40 minutes ago, around 7:50 PST.
Numbers are 174/4.0+, military soft. Congratulations to whoever else got in, and best of luck to everyone waiting!

Do they email out the rejections or send it via snail mail?

I had the same situation. Like three British writing teachers. This is pretty bad. I guess that was her way of rejecting me without having to make a phone call.Volunteer wrote:Wormfather wrote:As scary as the federal agent thing is, this is definitely the most brutal. (Except I was just assuming I was an auto-ding and now hope is trickling back in. Oh no.)

and then there was that. Perhaps going to shake shack for a concrete would help the poor guy. Question-are his classmates shitbags or is he cracking under pressure? Discuss
