You would not believe the number of people who have asked me if I applied to Princeton Law.

There actually was a Princeton Law School back in the day: http://www.princeton.edu/mudd/news/faq/topics/law.shtml
Only seven students graduated, so basically it's the most selective school in the nation to have existed.

It's funny that even though a new TTTT begins everyday, freakin PRINCETON has tried FOUR TIMES to start a law school and failed every time.hopeful16 wrote:There actually was a Princeton Law School back in the day: http://www.princeton.edu/mudd/news/faq/topics/law.shtml

That is definitely the best quote I've seen today. "We have Princeton philosophy, Princeton theology, but we have to go to Harvard and Columbia for our law. Gentlemen, that is a shame." What a horror!Yukos wrote:It's funny that even though a new TTTT begins everyday, freakin PRINCETON has tried FOUR TIMES to start a law school and failed every time.hopeful16 wrote:There actually was a Princeton Law School back in the day: http://www.princeton.edu/mudd/news/faq/topics/law.shtml

I also like this one: "'Just as soon as I find a man with a half a million, I am going to found a law school.' Nothing came of this pronouncement either, probably because a man with half a million never showed up."rehsalt wrote:That is definitely the best quote I've seen today. Best ding letter ever. Really tempted to start a Princeton c/o 2016 thread. But i'd prob get banned (though until yesterday, it had admitted as many people as Stanford..)vividviolin wrote:That hasn't stopped some people from applying to Princeton Law: http://www.lettersofnote.com/2011/11/de ... chool.html

Here's a custom made shirt my sister (who studies at Princeton) and Dad got for me for Christmas. The Princeton University part is real, but the Law school part is added.

Very excited to finally have classmates. I hope all of you were as ecstatic to see that 203 area code as I was
to all you still waiting, patience is a virtue. I didn't get in until February (granted I applied late...December 24)

203 would be Yale...but not Stanford...it could be Stamford with a 203 area code...

Congrats to all the recent admits! I applied early and still haven't heard anything from Stanford or Yale. Hopefully I'll be getting a call from one of the two soon.

I submitted my app to Stanford a few months ago but asked them to hold my application until they received my December LSAT score. I sent them an email notifying them that I had a new score once it was released but I haven't yet received a response and am still sitting at incomplete. Do things in the admissions office usually move this slowly or do you guys think I should give them a call?

I think they really are just that slow right now. They seem pretty behind on handing out decisions compared to previous years.chickpea wrote:I submitted my app to Stanford a few months ago but asked them to hold my application until they received my December LSAT score. On the other hand, calling would probably expedite the process a bit, and I doubt it would hurt you.

Talk about being a tease. A handful of acceptances a couple days ago, and then silence.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
