Checking in - submitted 11/12, went complete today (11/15). Is it realistic to expect a decision by Christmas, or does that just depend on volume and each applicant's numbers?

I assume you applied RD?

I don't think by Christmas is too unrealistic, but people who got called yesterday submitted around 9/1 - 9/5 it seemed like.

I believe it says in the ED contract that you must pay the deposit within 15 days of acceptance.

In the letter I got in the acceptance package (ED), and on the status checker page, it says that the seat deposits are due by april 30, 2013 and june 7, 2013. I havent recieved any emails from them, so i'm assuming thats when the seat deposits are due

Is this is true this is new, accepted ED last year and just paid the deposit like a normal RD acceptance, and then deffered to this year.

If anyone has experience in this, feel free to correct me. I'd say it's never too soon, per se, but as they just started rolling out a trickle of RD decisions, I'd wait a bit longer. A fall grades update + LOCI seems like a good plan to me.
