Congrats to all the ED admits!
Hopefully some RD decisions will come out soon for those of us who applied early and have already interviewed.
And I second the idea of including if you interviewed or not in the acceptance post on here. I'm curious to know as well.

I interviewed (thought my interview was awful too). Heavy high-LSAT splitter. I did write a Why Chicago? although it was kind of weakkfischm1 wrote:Congrats to all the ED admits!Hopefully some RD decisions will come out soon for those of us who applied early and have already interviewed.

Regulus, I have finally found my numbers twin.
Admitted today! Yay
Here's to showing how slaving over perfecting your apps can make up for an LSAT below the median.
No regrets on having slaved over 22 other apps...
Oh, and I interviewed.

We have similar stats, you give me hope! (Except 168 LSAT). Are you URM? Do you have more than normal softs?Regulus wrote:I was also accepted earlier today via email.

Reg seems like a pretty hoopy frood. I'm sure that came across in the applications in a more general way.Mdenis1 wrote:We have similar stats, you give me hope! (Except 168 LSAT). Are you URM? Do you have more than normal softs?Regulus wrote:I was also accepted earlier today via email.

E-mail is fine. I know someone who just BCC'ed them all on one e-mail and called it a day.Regulus wrote:I'm not sure what a hoopy frood is, but I'll assume it's something awesome.poichi wrote:Reg seems like a pretty hoopy frood. Also.... I have a sort-of-dumb question for all you other ED admits, or anyone in general for that matter: How exactly do we begin withdrawing from the other schools we applied to? Can we just call them, or do we have to email them (or even write them letters)? Does anyone have a link to instructions about how to withdraw applications? (I basically just want to make sure that I tell them first.... almost like when you break up with someone, you don't want them to be the one that dumped you; you want to be "the dumper.")

Status date changed again today. So far my progression has been: Interview ->UR 12/6->UR 12/18->UR 12/21. Maybe RD decisions are coming soon??

Same minus the interview. Will be interesting if any RDers did not update today. Because if it's everyone then obviously there is nothing to read into it (which I'm sure there is not).tyler.durden wrote:Status date changed again today. Didn't someone post earlier in the thread that status changes with Chicago meant nothing so we shouldn't try to glean any kind of pattern? (Not that that's stopping me of course!)BigZuck wrote:Same minus the interview. Will be interesting if any RDers did not update today. Yeah I think I remember someone saying we shouldn't read into date changes, but I'm far to compulsive and high-strung at this point not to! haha

For better or worse though it's nice to see movement. Unlike some other schools.tyler.durden wrote:danitt wrote:Didn't someone post earlier in the thread that status changes with Chicago meant nothing so we shouldn't try to glean any kind of pattern? No shit man, I'll take what I can get at this point. My nerves (and my fiance!) are ready for this cycle to be over. I've been a wreck lately...For better or worse though it's nice to see movement. Unlike some other schools.

RD here. Status did NOT update today. Still UR 12/17. Hoping it's bc they already made their decision to admit and my app needs no further review hah...
